Description
We are pleased to introduce our Needle Tube Fly Adaptor, which is very similar in design and operation to the HMH Starter Tube Tool. It is supplied with 25 stainless steel Needle Tubes of 1.5mm diameter in assorted lengths – 5 of each length 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 mm. The pack also includes 0.5 metre of silicone hook link tubing.
Also included are 3 pins for mounting plastic tubes of various sizes. However, these pins, although they will hold various sizes of plastic tube securely, are fairly basic and, if tying a lot of plastic tubes, it might be advisable to supplement them with a graduated tube fly needle or felting needles of various sizes.
Grays Tube Fly Adaptor is intended primarily to hold metal fly tying tubes, particularly Grays stainless steel Needle Tubes.
Grays Tube Fly Adaptor can be fitted to a standard fly tying vice and is ideal for holding and dressing Grays fine stainless steel Needle Tubes, as illustrated below.
